The Tree
The Tree Series, is inspired by the artist’s daily walks, where she meets and gazes at that tree, knowing it will always be there, sheltering as it has been for a few hundred years. The tree witnesses the sufferings and hopes of the world it surrounds, as it stands there, a shelter in the midst of the chaos and hectic present, allowing to reconnect with nature and the rhythm of the universe.

The Tree Series inspires La Primavera painting, that holds the same title of Boticelli’s La Primavera (painted c.1477AD and 1482AD). Known for one of its metaphors that state “the humanistic meaning of the work: Venus the goodwill (the Humanitas), as she distinguishes the material from the spiritual values.” Wahby continues the metaphor, by finding the balance in the core realm of female and male energy amidst a cosmic harmony focusing on spiritual and humane values.
