Artist Statement

I can Walk but I have Wings, I am meant to fly

My work is characterized by a combination of interdisciplinary mediums and techniques which include but are not limited to drawings, ‬paintings, ‬installations and video art,  ‬brought together to explore both the realms of human imagination and reality.‬ ‭ ‬I venture into different mediums according to the vision I have for the execution of each series so as to challenge viewers’‭ ‬understanding of the work and the visually immersive experience. ‬ My focus on colour‭,  ‬line and form are so as to inject new inspiration on a white raw canvas stretched to allow my imagination and vision to emerge from deep within my conscious.  ‬Everything melts in one‭; ‬color‭, ‬canvas‭, ‬self and being to become a unique amalgamation of that particular and special moment where dreams‭, ‬aspirations‭, ‬the future‭, ‬the present and the past disappear into‭ ‬the limitless potencial and mystery of a new and different world‭.‬ Bridging history with the present‭, ‬dreams‭  ‬and realities‭  ‬allow the reconnection of nature and the rhythm of the universe‭. ‬The poetic truth sought in light after darkness allows us to transcend into higher dimensions‭ . ‬

In all my dreams and realities‭, ‬there is no longer a distinction between both‭, ‬except the knowledge of co-existence‭. ‬My work is inspired by either present-day reality or ancient mythology‭, ‬and reflects upon our external and internal landscape of being‭ ‬to‭ ‬envision different dimensions and perspectives to contemplate the space and time in which we exist
